Memories from the Lilac Festival

When I heard the first time about the Lilac festival in Rochester (NY) I was thinking that I should go there. It was like how I expected: pop music, flowers, people and a lot of fun. When my friend and I arrived at the Lilac festival people were preparing to sell their items and food. A lot of people were sitting on the grass and watching the pop concert. Closer to evening I and my friend felt hungry and we decided to buy a steak sandwich and gyro (Greek sandwich) with local beer. After it on a full stomach we walked around and made beautiful pictures for memory. On this page you can see some of them.

On the next day I was at the Lilac festival with my classmates. This day I continued my photo session with wonderful lilacs and my friends. The most memorable thing from the second day of the festival was fried dough. I bought fried dough and shared with Manal and Xinyuan. We liked it a lot…

At the end of my writing I want to say "Thank You" to my friend Martin, my teachers Ms. Linda and Ms. Debora for driving. Without their help we couldn’t get to the Lilac festival.
